Once a year. An annual service keeps your boiler safe and efficient, and helps keep the manufacturer’s warranty valid. It’s worth booking about a month before your service is due.
Is a boiler service the same as a gas safety check?
No. A boiler service is maintenance to keep your boiler safe and efficient. A gas safety check is the mandatory annual inspection landlords need to confirm their gas appliances are safe to use (a CP12 certificate is £90 + VAT).
Do you offer emergency call-outs?
Yes, for boiler breakdowns and leaks. Normal hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, but out-of-hours emergency call-outs are available when needed. Higher rates may apply outside normal hours.
Do you charge for quotes?
No. Written estimates for new boiler installations are free, and you’re welcome to call for advice before booking a visit.
Do you work on oil or renewable systems?
No. DN Heating works on gas appliances only, including gas warm air heating units.
What should I do if I suspect a gas leak?
Turn off the gas supply at the meter, open windows, don’t use electrical switches, and call the National Gas Emergency Service immediately on 0800 111 999.
